This week's travel show focused on Rose's visit with Lorenzo and Danny from Delta Airlines at Milwaukee Airport. They showed the safety and sanitary protocols Delta has in place both at the airport and on board their aircraft.
Each week Rose shares at least one “silver lining” with the listeners. This week she had two –
ALG added Cabo San Lucas to their non-stop charter flights from Milwaukee this winter.
The passport offices throughout the country are open and processing passports. Standard time is 10 – 12 weeks.

Michelle Payette from Playa Resorts was our guest today. Playa Resorts operates 18 all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Rose Gray traveled to Cancun Sept. 20 – 24 and stayed at the Hyatt Ziva, one of the Playa Resorts. We discussed her experience including the safety/sanitary protocols in place. We also detailed the other components of the trip including the airline experience and transfers in Cancun.
Callers were curious whether it will be safe to cruise in the Caribbean in February, what the Disney World experience will be like in November and recommended hotels in Washington, DC.

Rose Gray started this weeks Travel Show with a BIG announcement. The Milwaukee charters (ENVF) for the 2021 Winter Season are out! This entails the following - Cancun: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, Punta Cana: Wednesday and Saturday and Montego Bay: Monday. These flights are going to be in high demand!
During the show Rose talks about what exactly a charter flight is and why they are so popular.

Rose Gray started this weeks Travel Show with good news that the TSA passenger count on 9/4 (968,673) was the highest since 3/17 (953,699)

Things are looking up for the travel industry. TSA checkpoint number was the highest it’s been since March 17 at 877,698. United, American and Delta airlines get rid of change fees, dropping the $200 penalty to change a domestic airline tickets.

- what cruise line to use for a Galapagos Islands adventure

Rose Gray kicked off this weeks travel show reminding listeners to sign up for the Fox World Travel Book Club on Sept. 29 at 6pm. Julie Durham, VP of Vacation travel will be the host, and the featured book is The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward who will also be joining us that evening.
Callers asked when they can book a cruise for early 2021 and should it be Hawaii or the Mexican Riviera as well as recommendations for a two week driving trip for the summer of 2021. This lead to a discussion of Route 66. One caller offered a couple of suggestions for Albuquerque.
One caller provided details of his flight from Chicago, Midway to Albany, NY.

Andrea Pradarelli who manages Fox's experienced team of Destination Wedding Consultants was this weeks featured guest. Rose and Andrea discussed the benefits of having a destination wedding and working with a destination wedding consultant. Announced during the show was CDC's decision to drop the recommended 14 day quarantine after traveling. Listeners also had questions, including what is the expected timeline for a river cruise refund, if a driving trip to the Smokey Mountain area is advised and if a trip to Badlands in the upcoming months would be a good idea.
